The Sichuan Province Valve Industry Association (hereinafter called the Association) used to be Sichuan Low-pressure Valve Association, when it was first established on Dec.25th, 1988. On Apr.24th, 1992, the Association was established formally after the agreement from Sichuan Mechanical Industry Office in the form of the No.34 documentation of Sichuan Mechanical Enterprise on 1992. Civil Administration Office of Sichuan audited it and issued the Consortium and Corporation Register Certificate (SheZhengZi No.00360) on May.6th, 1992. Enterprises evolved over the implementation of campaign and revolutionary more than a decade, and members of this consortium came and left of their own accord. At present, the Association has 35 consortium members and 87 individual members. The 5th council of Association involves 12 council enterprise units, and 1 other director unit. The president director unit is CHENGDU CHENGFENG VALVE CO., LTD, the representative of which is the broad chairman Mr. Ding Qi, and the vice president director unit is ZIGONG HIGH-PRESSURE VALVE CO., LTD, the representative of which is the general manager Mr. Wu Jinhuan, and the secretary-general is Ms. Sun Xiaoxia, and the secretariat is located in CHENGDU CHENGFENG VALVE CO., LTD.
Thereinto, 33 out of 35 consortium members have already acquired the ISO9001 Certificate, 8 out of which have gained API Certificate, 4 have gained CE Certificate, and 18 have gained AZ Certificate, and 2 have gained ISO1400 Certificate. Moreover, 3 consortium members have acquired the title of Sichuan Famous Product, involving CHENGDU CHENGFENG VALVE CO., LTD, ZIGONG HIGH-PRESSURE VALVE CO., LTD and LESHANG CHANGYI VALVE MANUFACTURE CO., LTD.
Mechanical industry is one of the biggest industries of Sichuan, and of which the valve industry takes a big proportion. Especially recent years, it has developed rapidly. The valves being produced are of many categories, such as gate valve, ball valve, butterfly valve, check valve, globe valve, drain valve, vent valve, relief valve, trap valve, throttle valve, regulating valve, plug valve, direction valve, and rubber lined valve, which can be widely used in lots of industries and places, including petroleum, natural gas, chemical industry, food, medical, paper making, vessel, water-electronic, city-construction, metallurgy, unclear power, drainage systems and transportation pipelines. Under this condition, the function and social effect of the Association have being improved continuously. Sichuan Province Valve Industry Association has become an important bridge or a ligament between government and enterprises, by not only offering information of national policy and measurement to member units, but also offering a platform for communication inside industry.
The Association established its website on Oct 2003, creating good condition for the members haven’t had website yet to log in network, and exploiting channels to publicize valve products. The Association is going to serve all the members with more and more methods.
The Association takes Serving the Members as its tenet, and has been determined to make big contribution to the development and improvement of the valve industry in Sichuan, and our nation.
